Positive: The location is great, with lovely views. There are good places to eat and drink very close by. The cottage was very comfortable and cosy. The host was very attentive and helpful. We would happily stay there again.
Negative: The WiFi was a bit hit and miss at times.

Positive: This was the best trip my partner and I have ever been on. Buliban Cottage is a wee piece of heaven. The views from the front of the house are so beautiful, we watched fishing boats, sail boats, sea birds diving for fish, there was so much to see. The sunsets were stunning every night. Mary’s hosting was first class, she was so easy to keep in touch with, communication was brilliant, the cottage was spotless and had fantastic appliances and facilities. The wet room style bathroom was so handy when we came back from swimming at the beach below the cottage; the pebble beach was tricky to navigate, but worth the trip down if you can manage it as the water was crystal clear. The shower had lovely pressure, and the oil system for hot water/heating was so easy to use. The bed was warm and comfortable, we slept great every night. The recliners in the living area were brilliant in the evenings, so cosy. We brought our dog with us, Mary made sure to have gates up for him to stop him running out onto the road, and food/water bowls too. He loved it here as much as we did! We had walks up the road in the evenings, with plenty of trips down to the beach to keep him entertained. I wish I could rate more than 10! We can’t thank you enough Mary, it was an unforgettable trip, we can’t wait to come back.

Positive: Location was great for us, easy walk to Malin Head. Place was clean, secure, warm,good kitchen, washing machine. It’s an old tradional house with a view of sheep and the sea. Can walk to a beach. Easy off road parking.
Negative: The bathroom is for disabled which is fine but the floor got wet , no big deal. The lighting in the kitchen could have been better.

Positive: Great location in the country side close to Malin Head. Washington machine and drying rack great for catching up on laundry.
Negative: It’s an old cottage which was nice but there’s nowhere to put your suitcases and unpack apart from the floor and for a couple close to 70, this wasn’t great. Mirror in the bathroom is too low for shaving. No hooks for hanging coats. Nowhere in bathroom to put toiletries etc.

Positive: Mary is an angel! She offered to pick me up in the dark after she knew that I didn’t have a car. The facilities are all great, and the heater works well! The sea view from the window is really amazing. It’s generally very peaceful and safe to live in.

Positive: The cottage is in a beautiful, remote location with spectacular views of the Atlantic. On our arrival at the cottage, there was tea, coffee, and milk. It was immaculate, with fresh towels. It was warm and comfortable, with all the mod cons and the charms of a rustic traditional Donegal cottage. Mary was a lovely host and provided us with everything we needed. The local people were friendly and welcoming.
